Meet Your Hosts

Diane and Lisa have been working in community with each other for 15 years. They’ve found a deep friendship among their shared interests in supporting the community with holistic wellness and believe in the power of connection.

  • With an illustrious career spanning over 40 years in the health and beauty industry, Lisa has dedicated her expertise to specializing in women's health and rejuvenation. Her journey is marked by five years of clinical experience with an internationally recognized Ayurvedic wellness company, where she has contributed to hundreds of success stories, transforming lives through holistic healing practices.

    Lisa is board certified by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) and is proud to be a founding board member of the Pennsylvania Ayurvedic Medical Association (PAMA). Her commitment to excellence and passion for Ayurveda have positioned her as a respected authority in the field.


  • Diane Kistler is a yoga therapist specializing in chronic pain, cancer, trauma, and nervous system regulation. She has over 21 years experience as a yoga teacher and 10 years as a yoga therapist. She sees clients in her practice as well as teaching private therapeutic yoga classes. She is a Unite for Her provider and speaker for their Speaker Series. Diane’s approach is one where the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is so key to moving into a healing relationship with self.

Meet Camphill Soltane

Situated in the hills of lovely Chester County, Camphill Soltane is an oasis from the fast pace of life, a retreat setting like no other.

Camphill Soltane’s sprawling 52-acres are filled with apple, peach & cherry orchards, herb and meditation gardens, wildflowers, & hiking trails nested in the heart of Chester County. Activities take place in the serene Greenhouse and the Farmhouse, where we will gather as a community for meals and workshops.

  • Payment plans can be accommodated up to 45 days prior to the retreat.

    Participants must be paid in full by 5 days prior to the start of the retreat.

  • The retreat is refundable until September 5, 2025 minus a $75 processing fee.

    After September 5, 2025 the enrollment is non-refundable.

    Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing via email to lisa@thebeautyofayurveda.com

  • We have many well appointed bedrooms available across our campus for your stay!

    All Overnight Accommodations Include: fresh linens (sheets and towels), wifi, heating, shared bath and kitchen access. Toiletries are not included.

  • You should bring toiletries such as shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, and shaving items. We also like to mention that you can bring along a covered travel cup or water bottle to use while you are here. If you plan to enjoy the outdoors, sunscreen, insect repellant, sturdy shoes, and a hat are advisable. Remember to bring a swimsuit and beach towels if you think you migt enjoy a dip in the pool.

  • Soltane is wheelchair accessible. Please notify Soltane hospitality if you have any mobility issues.

  • Meals are served family style and are made fresh daily, in house, with local, in season ingredients. Each house has its own full kitchen where you are welcome to store and prepare any foods/drinks you might like to bring along.

  • Yes, inform usof any special dietary needs and Soltane will make every effort to meet your needs and preferences.

  • Yes, we have free high-speed wireless internet.

  • The closest major airport is Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) located just under an hour southwest of Camphill Soltane. The campus is located in rural Chester County with limited public transportation. The closest public transportation is the Exton or Paoli Amtrak station, both 20-30 minutes from the campus.

  • Camphill Soltane’s sprawling 52-acres are filled with apple, peach, & cherry orchards, herb gardens, wildflowers, & hiking trails nestled in the heart of Chester County. Our campus boasts a gymnasium, banquet room, art gallery, grand piano, farmhouse with goats and chickens, art studio, in-ground pool, cozy log cabin, & state-of-the-art greenhouse overflowing with lush tropical plants & flora.

    If you bring your bicycle, the area’s paved roads offer miles of lightly trafficked, scenic biking. Keep in mind that this is tick country; use of insect repellent while engaging in outdoor activities is advised.

  • The nearby towns of Phoenixville and West Chester offer shopping, dining and entertainment.


    French Creek State Park is located about 8 miles away and offers swimming, hiking and boating. The Soltane staff will be able to provide more information or suggestions for travel in the surrounding area. Chester County has some real hidden gems amongst the countryside!
